The module aims at helping students to understand what research is all about; the process of developing a research; and the different techniques used when collecting, analysing and interpreting data; the way of writing proposals and ethical issues in research as the activity becomes more and more competitive on the ground.
The students should at the end understand general knowledge on research, on developing the research taken as aiming at solving problem and to elaborate a scientific method as a process of doing research. The students should at the end understand general knowledge on planning any research activity knowing that it starts when a research problem is identified and they have to make sure of the availability of the data (interpreted by software techniques) which would be used in investigating deeply the matter.
