Having successfully completed this unit, students should
- define and explain basic notions of history and analyze different socioeconomic elements of African.
- know the history of his continent through its different periods in order to define his origins;
- understand the political history of AFRICA (people of Africa, models of government, economic and social aspects of African history) from kushite civilization up to now.
- make research on contemporary history of AFRICA by emphasizing on different regional organizations, their historical background, members of these organizations, and their realizations in different domains..
