At UTAB we train generalist social workers with the intent of providing
a solid base of skills for working at micro, mezzo, and macro levels of
practice. This module attempts to familiarize students to positive communication with different people and to devise social work intervention plan for specific clients. Interventions are either direct, typically involving a
confrontational meeting with individual in need, or indirect, involving work
with a co-dependent family/ professionals and organizations to encourage more effective involvement in helping the
