The aim of this course is to provide students with the best possible basis for study of Criminology and social intervention unit, At the end of the lecture, the student should be able to identify and understand criminality, its sources and its factors. He/she should understand how people may became criminals and how criminality operates within the society and how it impacts on social conduct of the persons, The fundamental areas of the course will be explained in order to help students understand the issues surrounding this subject, and how the latter impacts on the political, social and economic context in which they operate.
