This course covers the introductory part of Agricultural Engineering, the various options and the emerging areas; the types and functions of farm equipment, benefits and limitations of farm mechanization and suggestions for increased farm mechanization. The principles of rural construction, Soil management, Hydrology, Irrigation and drainage were also covered.
This module aims to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills
necessary to effectively organize human resources and manage agribusiness enterprises in an
increasingly competitive and dynamic environment. Students will explore the fundamental
concepts of agribusiness management, including its distinctive features, organizational
structures, and the essential managerial skills required to successfully run agribusinesses.
The module emphasizes the development of conceptual, human, technical, and analytical skills,while integrating principles of innovation and creative problem-solving to address challenges in agribusiness operations. Students will be introduced to core business management principles and modern methods designed to improve organizational productivity, optimize resource use, and maximize profitability.
