This Module aims to bring a thorough understanding on cooperatives institutions in one hand and non profit organizations on the other hand. Every Manager should be aware of the legal environment in which his/her business or organization thrives and operates. This Module will introduce students to the legal environment for specific institutions which are cooperatives and other non profit based organizations, by discussing such topics as principles and characteristics of those organizations, financial statement of such institutions and their strategic organization.

This Module provides a clear understanding of the principles, characteristics and of course strategic organization and financing of those institutions.

The two units build a basic understanding of how these institutions are contributing to the today’s development of small and medium businesses which are most present in world economy. So this knowledge is relevant for knowing whether these organisations are complying with the law and are managed efficiently.

This Course entrepreneurial Behavior is composed of four chapters. It aims at providing knowledge to learners about different aspects of entrepreneurial behavior. The content will allow learners to understand entrepreneurial behavior.

 The content also provides ideas on how psychological factors can explain the behavior of entrepreneurs, and how these behaviors affect their business performance.

This course describes the impact of both entrepreneurial behavior and the environmental context. Entrepreneurial behavior is assumed to be determined by both individual differences and task characteristics such as intellectual ability and motivation, as well as environmental determinants.

The course of Cooperative Management provides students with a theoretical and practical framework for understanding the origins, principles and values, and the strengths and weaknesses of the cooperative business model. 

It further aims to build students’ appreciation of cooperatives as a viable model of economic development. The course focuses on the methods by which mainstream governance, accounting, personnel, and marketing practices can be adapted to fit the cooperative model.

The objective of the course is to provide the conceptual and practical understanding of cooperative management. The course will be helpful to provide the knowledge of functions, rules and regulations and the benefits of the cooperative management.
