This module introduces students to the foundations of chemistry. From discussing the concept of matter and related chemical phenomena to understanding the rationale of energy generation and consumption in daily life. The module discusses the atomic structure, focusing on subatomic particles as well as electronic configuration. It further equips students with enhanced understanding of chemical bonding and physical and chemical changes. It discusses gas laws and engages students in activities related to organic chemistry. In brief, the content of this module is essential to equipping students with general chemistry skills.

For academic and professional settings, an ICT Skills course offers fundamental, hands-on, and certified instruction in critical digital technologies. Computer literacy, the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), file management, internet usage, email correspondence, and digital safety are among the important topics it covers. In order to improve productivity and problem-solving skills, the course prepares students to utilize computers with confidence.
